a.gif (1659 bytes)  Psalm 90:2 says, "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God." God does not tell us where He was before He created the world, but simply tells us that He is God from everlasting to everlasting.

The fact of the matter is that God is everywhere at once. Psalm 139:7-12 says, "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee."

The important thing for us to consider is "Why are we where we are right now?" Elijah had gotten afraid when Jezebel had threatened his life, and he took off running. I Kings 19:9 says, "And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?"

Why are we here upon earth? Revelation 4:11 says, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." Are we pleasing God with our lives? That is a bigger question for us to consider.
