Occupation: Computer Programmer

 I was saved in late September, 1974.  I had been raised in a religious home, but thought it was all phony.  After dropping out of college, I had tried to find satisfaction in many different ways: politics, various religions, drugs, etc.  I finally decided my life wasn't going anywhere, so I returned to college.

While in college, God used a relationship I had with a person to bring me to Christ.  When that relationship went sour, I hit the bottom emotionally, and spiritually.  God used circumstances to bring someone to me with the Gospel.  As he shared the Scriptures with me, God brought me under conviction.  I felt the weight of my sin, and knew that there was nothing I could do about it.  I then saw in my mind's eye the Lord Jesus Christ, high and lifted up.  Through the grace of God, I called upon Him to save me.   He did, and gave me a new life.  He provided me with a lovely wife, and has given us six wonderful children.
